Storage Network Audit Program

SNAP is an automated question/answer tool to audit the security of storage networks (SAN/NAS). It provides security topics and audit questions for the end user to perform and complete. Once all the answers are inserted into the tool, SNAP will create a report delineating between strong security practices and weaker ones.

SecureNetApp

The SecureNetApp is a product that analyzes the security of a Network Appliance Filer. SecureNetApp includes over 100 checks for security. Additionally, for each finding, SecureNetApp will provide a detailed recommendation that includes line-by-line syntax to fix any security exposure.

StorScan

StorScan is a storage security port scanner. It can scan a single IP address or an entire subnet. It will only show the ports that correspond to storage devices and storage protocols, such as iSCSI Storage Area Networks (SAN) or CIFS/NFS Network Attached Storage (NAS).

CPT (CHAP Password Tester)

CHAP Password Tester (CPT) is an offline brute-forcer program for CHAP (Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol). The program was written primarily to test iSCSI SANs using CHAP authentication.
